Turbo Wastegate Solenoid Valve Fits Cruze Sonic Encore Equinox Terrain Vanderhall Replaces GM 55573259, GM 55559239, GM 55574902 I have diagnosed endless overboost problems and what I have found over the years of diagnosing these turbos is the main culprit of an overboost issue is either leaking hoses or a bad wastegate control solenoid. I have found that these get packed up with gunk over the years and it's just better to replace them than to clean them out. They are simply too small to clean up internally. Also, if hoses are cracked and leaking or blocked, you will have tons of boosting issues on your turbo and wastegate system.
