This system uses DC for both ignition and lighting, wired for use with whole-wave regulators. The focus of this product is reliability and longevity through build quality, and not over-complicating things.  All connections are labeled.  The harness installs in minutes, and keeps on working without much thought after that.  If you're new to these karts, this is the harness to get. ✅ Will this fit your kart? Must be a GY6 between 150cc to "200cc". Must have a 6 or 8-pole stator. Routing: Harness length is 9ft.  Fits almost all GY6 go kart and buggy models with the 152/157QMK, 161QMK engines.  Route along driver side of the chassis, not in the floor pan.  ⚠️This listing only includes the wiring harness by itself, it doesn't come with parts at this price.   Get the parts here. ✅ What else to know: Only use a standard black DC CDI.  Avoid fake "performance" CDIs. Only use a DC full-wave regulator unit. The key switch rings are size M4 (4mm screw). The kill switch tabs are 4.8mm flat
