Scott Aerator replacement motors are the same as the original motors on Scott units. These Motors come standard with only the motor lead (18"), but as an option, lengths of the cord are available. Scott Aerator replacement motors are designed using a two-wire, split phase, with integral starting components and an-winding thermal overload protection. In addition, a two-wire BIAC starting switch is built in that provides reverse impact torque to allow starting in challenging conditions. Models 2 HP or less do not require a control box.
