Aerospace Weld Test Fixture

The Aluminum Weld Test Fixture/purge block from Superior is the answer to your fixturing and back purge needs for your welder qualifications and procedure testing. The billet 6061 aluminum Test Fixture uses our proprietary diffuser that evenly distributes your back purge gas eliminating the "spots" that can be seen in other designs. All hardware is included.  For those needing tee joint testing we also offer the weld test fixture/purge block with our proprietary fixture allowing complete purging on the back side of your weld coupon. Our design allows the welder to clamp the vertical piece in place reducing warpage of entire coupon.  You also have the option to back purge the back side of the fillet or spin the fixture around and use a solid aluminum back up if needed.  Standard Test Fixture is 8" long will fit up to 7" wide welding coupons.
