Worm and spindle are hardened and ground. Features spiral machining capability. Allows you to divide in any angle by the direct, indirect or differential methods. Ratio between worm and worm gear is 40:1. Features threaded spindle nose and 24 hole dividing plates with easy conversion to fast, direct indexing on numbers 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24. Complete set includes Dividing Head, Adjustable Tailstock, 3 Dividing Plates, 12 gears with 2 arms for differential indexing or transmitting machine table feed to worm shaft for spiral cutting.
