Craftmade 1/2" Diameter Ceiling Fan Downrod  This is the downrod you are looking for. Available in a variety of finishes and lengths, this downrod is compatible with the majority of Craftmade ceiling fans. Choosing Your Downrod Length It is recommended to have at least 7' of clearance underneath your ceiling fan blades. For ceiling heights under 9', you should be able to use the downrod included with your fan. For higher ceilings, please see adjacent chart for recommended downrod length. For lower ceilings, we recommend a semi-flush, flushmount or hugger fan that is designed to deliver excellent airflow with maximum clearance.
