Belgian Pearl Sugar

This pearl sugar is made from beet sugar rather than sugar cane and therefore requires less processing to achieve its white color. Originally used in liege waffles, try topping baked goods like muffins, cookies, or breads for a sweet crust. Folding pearl sugar into your baking mix will create pockets of slightly melted sweetness. Or simply use as sugar cubes to sweeten your tea.
