Falafel Kit
Make your own falafel at home! Simply soak the chickpeas overnight and combine with fresh aromatics and spices to make a satisfying meal at home. These falafels are chickpea based and are accented by smokey and nutty cumin and coriander. Our kit makes approximately four servings of falafel. Extra falafel can be frozen for future use. Ingredients:1 small bunch Cilantro1 small bunch Parlsey2-3 cloves of Garlic1/2 OnionSalt to Taste (1-2 tsps)Oil for Frying Directions:Soak chickpeas in water overnight or for at least 8 hours. Drain. Using a chopper or food processor, make a paste out of the Cilantro, Parsley, Onion, Garlic and spices. Add the chickpeas and salt and process until well combined. Place mixture, covered, in the refrigerator for at least on hour.Set aside a clean cookie sheet or plate. After an hour, remove the falafel mixture from the fridge.
