Also known as nyora chiles or nora spices, these Spanish chiles have a mild heat and earthy, slightly sweet flavor. Nora chiles are mostly used in their dried state, often rehydrated, and used in soups, stews, paellas, chorizo and Romesco. Their mild flavor pairs well with potatoes, cream, and seafood. Remove seeds before using as they will add bitterness to your dish. This year’s batch of chiles is smaller than previous ones, with chiles measuring 1 - 1.5 inches each. Scoville Units: 500 SHU
