Occiput to Sacrum Trauma Spine
This model includes three different types of trauma; jumped facet and locked facet joint, burst fracture and pars fracture. Each model uses biomechanically tested materials and processes, and can be used to demonstrate complex surgical intervention for spine trauma. Jumped/Locked Facet Joint Each model includes two jumped fracture/dislocation of C5-C6 and T7-T8 facets. The synthetic discs and ligaments are disrupted allowing for realistic correction Burst Fracture This SurgiSTUD model reflects severe compression trauma to an entire lumbar vertebral body, located at T12. Pars Fracture Located a L4. Combined with other traumas this model allows for teaching a myriad of surgical techniques including drilling, pedicle screw placement, rod placement, sequential reduction techniques and more!
