Zimmer Pre-Instrumented Bilateral Hip

This model was designed for the Zimmer Biomet showroom with reusability and ease of demonstration in mind. The 3d printed bony anatomy has already been "instrumented" featuring a removable proximal femur head to display the neck cut and the cavity made by the broach allowing users to insert the implant without instrumenting as well as a pre-reamed acetabulum. This model also includes a wide range of soft tissues to enhance the surgical approach and feel. This model can walk trainees through the entire total hip arthroplasty procedure: exposure, retraction, bony resection, reaming, broaching, and implantation. This bilateral model includes the sacrum and the following left and right anatomies: pre-reamed ilium, pre-broached proximal femur, glutes, quads, adductor longus/pectineus, external rotators, piriformis, PSOAS, TFL, sartorius, fabric-reinforced skin and radiolucent soft tissue.
