Constructed from resin-soaked linen cloth layers formed into popular shapes for gemstone carving, the surface texture of these burs readily impregnates with diamond grit and extends the lifespan of your polishing compound. Phenol burs embedded with diamond paste are perfect for working with fire agate, ruby, sapphire, garnet, and jade carvings. The diamond compound becomes more deeply embedded within the bur over time and with use, resulting in a highly-concentrated diamond bur that will provide long life with occasional re-charging of diamond compound.
