These sheets are made from 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton, have been certified to both Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX and MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX which includes both testing for ~350 harmful substances and sustainable production, and has achieved MADE SAFE certification, which includes independent third-party review that screens for 6,500 prohibited/restricted substances.  Certification to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) includes independent certification of the entire textile supply chain with strict controls on natural and synthetic chemical inputs—with verification and regular auditing to ensure adherence to the standard.
