Tree Beard

Tree Beard was inspired by creaky tall trees in thick woods, smoky campfires, and clear starry skies. This is Mr. Sweetgrass' favorite body bar! While pine resin has properties that make it beneficial to us, it’s primary purpose is maintaining the health of the tree. Resin is produced as a protective agent to seal physical wounds and create a barrier to infection by bacteria and fungus or invasion by insects.  Pine tar soap has been used for generations for various skin conditions. Some find pine tar soap helpful in relieving the itching and inflammation associated with eczema and psoriasis. The moisturizing properties of  pine tar soap can help with dry, itchy skin.
