Unbleached Cotton Cheesecloth

This washable, reusable unbleached cotton cheesecloth is the ideal accessory for making Sweet's DIY Syrup Kits!  Two Ways To Use: Pour your dry DIY Kit contents onto a square of cheesecloth and tie it shut into a bag using kitchen string. Stew your syrup according to package directions, then lift the bag and give it a thorough squeeze over the pot.  Now discard or compost the used kit ingredients, and wash your cloth for re-use!   If you prefer not to bag your ingredients, simply pour the DIY Kit into a pot of water.  After stewing according to the package directions, line your metal colander with cheesecloth.  Carefully pour your hot Kit mixture into the cheesecloth, then press with a spoon.  Then, twist your cheesecloth shut around the elderberries, and squeeze hard, getting all the goodness into your freshly-made syrup.  Discard or compost the used kit ingredients, and wash your cloth for reuse!  This 20x20" hemmed cheesecloth can be used for cooking, straining, covering and more
