Fastest Relay Split Ever in Swimming

Jason Lezak's split time of 46.06 seconds on the anchor leg of the 4x100m freestyle relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics is still the fastest 100m split in history. This was part of the famous 4x100 Freestyle Relay in Beijing where the US team came from behind to win gold, with Lezak chasing down the French anchor Alain Bernard in the final meters.
