Taste Notes: Caramel, Apple, Roasted Hazelnut, Juicy Body Origin: San Fermin Community - Planadas, ColimaProcess: WashedAltitude: 1,600 - 2,000 Meters This collection of small-scale growers in Colombia have done a great job to produce high quality coffee.  They reside in Planadas, Tolima and this partnership is through our friends and importers Caravela.  This is a coffee that is a staple for us, not only as the base of our Golden Age Espresso, but as a single origin because of it's consistency in flavor profile.  Every year we feel this coffee gets better!   This coffee is grown at 1600-2000m and is a fully washed coffee.  As we tasted this coffee we felt it had a wonderful malic apple acidity, some deep flavor of roasted hazelnuts and caramel.  And the body was wonderfully smooth.   This is a perfect early morning coffee, every day drinker.
