The small, flat leaves of this plant develop in a rosette and often appear waxy or powdery. This cultivar is a deeper purple leaved rosette. Height: 1in - 8in Width: 1ft - 3ft Watering Needs: Very low, let dry between waterings Sun Needs: Full sun to partial shade Soil Needs: Relatively dry, nutrient poor and fast draining Bloom Time: July, August Landscape Use and Ecological Function: Though not a native straight species, this plant still offers many benefits and habitat. It attracts butterflies and makes a great drough tolerant ground cover.
