Plant Description: A mat forming perennial native through much of Oregon, Washington, and California. Fluffy, pink, red, or purple, cascading bell shaped flowers with silvery-blue hairy basal leaves and tall, slender stems. Seeds are easily dispersed through wind.  Height: 6-18 inches Width: 1-2 ft Watering needs: can manage a variety of soil moistures, but typically found in more dry locations Sun needs: sun-part shade Soil needs: well draining, thin, loamy, and sandy soil.
