Plant Description: A very large, fast growing conifer with flat needles and red colored bark. Branches droop slightly while needles turn slightly upward. The very shiny green needles with silver bottom sides are a helpful identifier from some other similar conifers. Cones are dioecious and smell somewhat like oranges.
