Plant Description: A tall growing tiger lily species that is commonly found in wet understories of southern Oregon and Northern California and Nevada mountains. Sierra Tiger Lily can grow up to 7 feet tall and a few feet wide with bright orange flowers that curl outwards getting light orange and yellow with brown/orange speckles in the center.  Height: 1-7 ft Width: 2 ft Sun Needs: partial shade Soil Needs: Moist Bloom Time: June through August Portland Plant List (Backyard Habitat Certification): No Landscape Use and Ecological Function: The Sierra Tiger Lily is native to areas of Southern Oregon, California, and Nevada in low to mid elevation in moist-wet areas including bogs and streams.
