Tall, showy, late blooming Willamette Valley native annual. Pollinated by bumblebees, honeybees, butterflies, and other native insects. Flowers will usually close in the heat of day, opening in morning and evening. 1 gram packets contain ~400 seeds Height: 24”-48” Width: 12”-24” Water: Dry to Moist Sun: Full sun to part shade Bloom time: June-August (depending on moisture availability) Direct sowing: can be sown in fall or spring. Seeds will germinate readily in fall and grow steadily throughout the winter. Can be sown in spring (before April), plants will be shorter.
