Plant Description: Methley Plum is a cultivar of a Japanese plum that is small and upright with just enough of a spreading form to make this an absolutely beautiful tree. It produces heavy, annual crops of juicy, sweet, red purple fruit. The fruit is juicy, sweet and mild with a distinctive flavor which is good for fresh eating or jelly. Self-fertile but will produce more with another variety. It is a great pollinator for other early Japanese Variety. Hardy to minus 15°F.
