A member of the mint family is native to Mexico, traditionally this plant has been used by Mazatec curendero/as for divination and healing ceremonies. Uncommon in cultivation. Prefers part-sun to shade. Provide fertile and fast-draining soil(does very well in containers too). Not hardy below freezing...protect over winter. Can grow up to 10' but unlikely to in the PNW.
