 Superworms, or Zophobas morio, are darkling beetle larvae similar to mealworms, enjoyed by even the pickiest reptile eaters. Unlike mealworms, superworms have high levels of crude fat at about 17%. Superworms are an excellent feeder to use as an occasional treat for adding extra fat into your reptile or exotic pet's diet.  THESE ARE NOT A STAPLE DIET ON THEIR OWN AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DUSTING IN CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT BEFORE FEEDING. Each large superworm is approximately 2" long. We guarantee live delivery, and always include an additional 10% with your order to ensure satisfaction.  LARGER INSECTS - for adult bearded dragons or similar-sized pets only WINTER 2026 UPDATE: Heat packs are highly recommended for delivery in areas experiencing low temperatures.
