Sterling Silver & Gemstone Dragonfly Earrings

Dragonflies, like the mythic, cosmic Dragons of the Far East, are imbued with the spirit of regeneration and immortality. Their amazing life-cycle includes a transformation from an ungainly aquatic nymph to an iridescent aerial acrobat! They are thought to symbolize renewal and positivity.  These petite dangle earrings are a more diminutive version of our first Dragonfly earrings; they are 3/4 " or 18 mm in length, with ear wire they will dangle 1", or 25 mm long The wing-span is 3/4" or 20 mm in width. I have delicately patterned the wings that I have cut from a sheet of Sterling It is a very pleasurable experience to try to recreate these fleeting, mysterious creatures in glistening metal. Each piece to me feels like a homage to the beauty and mystery of Nature. I am honored to use my skills in this way. These little creatures will be made for you. They are lightly antiqued and given a hand brushed finish, exuding an understated elegance. We hope they will become instant favorites
