Mercedes W212 W218 E350 E550 E63 Rear Adjustable Height Sensor Links

Up for sale, is a set of rear adjustable lowering links (adjustable height sensor arms) for the Mercedes Benz W212 and W218 models with Airmatic suspension. Models include E350, E550, CLS350, CLS550 and the AMG models E63 and CLS63. This is a quick and easy way for lowering your car without having to replace springs and shocks. The lowering is done by adjusting the length of the ride height sensor links which are attached to the upper control arms in the rear and "a-arms" in the front. For the fronts, the longer the link is adjusted, the lower your car will go. The back is the opposite, the shorter the link the lower the body drops. There are two lock nuts on both ends of the hexagonal bar where you lock your desired height position. Rule of thumb, a 5mm longer length for the front represent a 1” drop on the chassis on the front wheels. For the rear, a 5mm shorter link represents a 1” drop on the rear chassis on the rear wheels.  Here are some quick tips: The stock links are exactly 60mm from center hole to center hole. First, give the ball cups 2 full turns on BOTH ends to be safe and the length is 60mm. I then locked one side with the lock nut and turn the other side 4 turns for a length of 58mm. This will lowered the car to 1.75"- 2". This is the desire setting. If you want your car to drop more, you could turn the first ball cup 4 turns and locked one side with the lock nut and turn the second ball cup 4 turns for a length of 55mm which lowered the car to 3"-3.5" and have the slammed look. With this stance, you will have to watch your tires as the inner tire wall will wear out faster.
