Avignonesi Grifi

Avignonesi is one of the most respected producers in the village of Montepulciano, and their Grifi is a splendid blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. This sumptuous and stylish Super Tuscan is really impressive this vintage. Dark ruby red in color with purple reflections, the nose opens with notes of blueberries, blackberries and incense going up to sandalwood and graphite. In the mouth it is dense and complex with hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon.
