This magnificent 17th century building was a former hunting lodge of King Louis Philippe. The owners, Alain and Bernadette Aubert, have preserved this exceptional heritage of history. The terrace of the Chateau offers an impregnable life on the Dordogne river which flows at its feet and on an estate of more than 80 hectares, giving birth to a red wine, Bordeaux Superieur, the Chateau de Ribebon. The Bordeaux Superieur vineyard dates back 40 years and covers nearly 136 acres. 'Intense color, shiny ruby reflections. Aromas of red and black fruit. Ripe and concentrated tannins Complex and sophisticated wine, well balanced throughout the tasting. Generous volume, full bodied and rich and elegant taste. The tasting reflects the expression of the terroir and the quality of the grapes.' - Winemaker Notes
