Chateau de Sales Pomerol

Built in the 17th century, Chateau de Sales is largest estate in the Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank. The chateau possesses exceptional beauty and elegance, and the same is true for its wines as they are the true expression of the Pomerol terroir from which they originate. A classic Right Bank blend of 72.5% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12.5% Cabernet Franc, this was a highly successful vintage for the estate. 'The 2019 De Sales has a deep garnet-purple color, rolling effortlessly out of the glass with impressively intense baked cherries, plum preserves and fruitcake scents with nuances of potpourri, licorice, chocolate box and fragrant earth.
