Chateau Siran has a history in the Medoc that dates back to 1428, making it one of the oldest estates in Margaux. In late 2014, Chateau Siran finished a complete renovation and modernization of their cellars and wine-making facilities, and the winery has crafted some of their finest wines to date since that time. A blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot,  and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Siran is a thing of beauty. "Very attractive, plush and rich red and dark-fruit aromas with beautifully integrated oak and youthful, spicy complexity. The palate has lush, seamless and velvety tannins that are elegant yet powerful and deliver a silky build of ripe dark-berry flavors into a long, seamless finish. Greatest Siran ever!" - James Suckling - 96 points
