CVNE Cava Brut

Famed Rioja producer CVNE recently got into the Cava game with their purchase of Roger Goulart in 2018. This is a great entry-point to their style of Cava, and it's also a great value. A classic blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parellada, the wine is fermented traditionally, with the secondary fermentation occurring in bottle. Aged for 18 months on its lees, the finished wine is quite fine, especially for a Cava in this price range. Possessing a nice mix of citrus and orchard fruits, a light toastiness, and fine bubbles, it's a lot of bubbly for the money.
