Dacapo Ruche 'Majoli'

Dacapo, under the watchful eyes of Renata Bonacina, makes 50,000 bottles per vintage. That's about 4,000 cases, and they make several different wines. All of the farming is organic, and one of the estate' specialties is Ruche, a Piemonte specialty. The grape yields highly aromatic, spicy, and floral red wines with good texture and plenty of ripeness. Pronounced raspberry, dark cherry, black pepper, cinnamon, rose and violet are all offered up on a fresh and generous palate. The grape can sometimes yield quite alcoholic wines, but this one comes in at just 13.5% ABV. Delicious!
