Domaine des Chasseignes Sancerre Blanc

Domaine des Chasseignes began four generations ago with a family farm that also raisedlivestock and grew grains. Today, the great granddaughter of founder Alphonse, AuroreDezat, is the talented vigneronne at the helm. Her husband, David Girard, joined her in 2016 and with him brought a wealth of experience in organic and biodynamic farming.  Their Sancerre is wonderfully pure, balanced, and full-flavored, and it comes from a very good Loire Valley vintage. Bursting with notes of pear, pineapple, green apple, lime zest, flowers, and mineral, this is elegant and refined on the palate, finishing long and satisfyingly. So good and so affordable!
