Domaine des Chasseignes Sancerre Rose

Domaine des Chasseignes began four generations ago with a family farm that also raised livestock and grew grains. Today, the great granddaughter of founder Alphonse, Aurore Dezat, is the talented vigneronne at the helm. Her husband, David Girard, joined her in 2016 and with him brought a wealth of experience in organic and biodynamic farming. In addition to beautiful Sancerre Rouge and Blanc, the couple make a beautiful dry rose based entirely on Pinot Noir. Pale colored, highly aromatic, and brisk on the palate, this exudes beautiful notes of rose petal, raspberry, citrus, and mineral.
