Lagaria Chardonnay

What a delicious Chardonnay value from Italy's northernmost region of Trentino-Alto Adige. Long regarded as one of Italy's go-to zones for crisp and refreshing whites, Lagaria's Chardonnay is definitely shows those characteristics, but it's actually a bit complex too. Aged on the lees in a mix of stainless steel, and older French barrels, it offers up enticing aromas and flavors of apple, pear, lemon oil, spice, and white flower on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, and elegant, it's a wonderful value.
