Sandhi Chardonnay Central Coast

Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. Sandhi was founded in 2010 by Rajat Parr, the wine director for Michael Mina Restaurants, and winemaker, Sashi Moorman. 'The 2019 Chardonnay (Central Coast) is a gorgeous wine in its peer group. Fresh and vibrant with lovely balance, the Central Coast Chardonnay has so much to offer. Tangerine oil, white flowers and bright saline notes, along with a touch of reduction, give the 2019 tons of character. A desire to focus on sustainably farmed vineyards led Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman to widen their focus, so the 2019 is labeled as a Central Coast wine. It replaces the Santa Barbara County Chardonnay in the Sandhi range.' - Vinous Media
