The Paring Red Wine

The Paring is a second label from Jonata and The Hilt, two of the most highly acclaimed wineries of California's Central Coast. Grapes for this wine are culled from vineyard blocks that are either too young, or don't fit into the vintage style of their higher-end brethren. Jeb Dunnuck - "Darker currants, tobacco, cedary herbs, bay leaf, and spicy notes all emerge from the 2020 Red Wine, a medium-bodied, nicely textured blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. It has ripe tannins, good mid-palate concentration, and a good finish."
