Tohu was New Zealand's first Maori-owned winery, and their estate vineyards are situated in the southern part of Marlborough, in the Awatere Valley. The cooler and windier aspect of this region gives us Sauvignon Blanc with brisk, bright, and live-wire personalities, and the rockier soils found here imbue the wines with good minerality. Wine Enthusiast - 91 points - "A zippy burst of waxy lime peel, passionfruit and lemongrass aromas—with white florals and dried herbal nuances behind—leads to an ultra fresh, well balanced palate with tangy, tongue-tingling acidity and lovely flavor intensity: those mouth-watering citrus flavors lingering on the finish."
