Trig Point Cabernet Sauvignon 'Diamond Dust Vineyard'

Trig Point is produced by Nick & Yolyn Goldschmidt, and all of their wines are handcrafted and produced in relatively small amounts. The Diamond Dust Vineyard sits on a bench land site in the Alexander Valley facing southeast in a beautiful bowl, protecting the vineyard from the wind. The early morning fog and deep gravelly loam soils are ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is bright and deep, and the nose is packed with sumptuous fruit. Ripe raspberries, black cherry, plum, and anise aromas lead to a lush and friendly palate of warm cherry, blueberry, dusty spice, and licorice. Great Alexander Valley Cab for the $$!
