Description Here she goes surprising us again. This is part of Elaine Kaufman Feiner's Florida series and was completed in January 1974. Unlike most of the works we have seen by Elaine, here she used very light layers of oil paint which, in the aggregate, creates extremely subtle yet complex colors and texture. Zoom in on some of the close ups and you will see what we mean by this. On top of that, she outlined her variegated shapes in gray. Our friends at Monbouquette Jewelry say her work reminds them of William Baziotes, and now, we see what they mean!
