Important: This hex was designed to fit Catan editions 4 and 5. For Catan 6th Edition (2025 Release), a maximum of 6 replacement hexes may be used as the hexes are slightly larger than the new 6th edition hexes.The Volcano Hex Expansion provides a new level of gameplay to the traditional Catan game. When the number on the volcano is rolled, the player will roll a die. A settlement or city built on that will be reduced or destroyed. All others will receive a resource card of their choice.
