New Zealand Strike Indicator System

This New Zealand Strike Indicator system is the easiest and best way to present nymphs to spooky fish in clear water or anywhere you need a light, stealthy presentation. The wool does not splash down like foam indicators, and yet remains easily adjustable for depth and does not damage your leader. Wool can be cut to length to adjust the size of the indicator to increase sensitivity as your fly size decreases and less flotation is needed. The secret to the success of this wool indicator is that it can support a surprising amount of weight, but presents very little resistance when the fish takes the nymph, decreasing rejection rates. The Standard size tool and tubing works with most nymphs and in most river conditions, the X-large is helpful on rougher surface conditions or when suspending very heavy nymphs.  The Orange color is good for situations where you need a hi-vis option.The Yellow is most visible when wearing sunglasses.The Fl. Green is good for dark backgrounds or low light s
