A Cowboy’s Grit: Braden Johns

My 38 year old son was hurt in October 2024 while showing a horse in Ft Worth. He has been in rehab since that time. He has a traumatic brain injury which has affected his mobility. He is very alert and understands what is said and can respond to yes/no correctly and consistently. He is unable to talk or move arms and legs primarily due to increased tone from the head injury.   He has fought every day to improve his skills and gives 110% during all therapies. He is extremely motivated to walk, and the new rehab doesn't have the same devices to address walking.  If he could talk, he would tell you how much this means to him to walk again. In a season of slowed progress, this would give him a new found level of independence.  Thank you so much for your consideration!
