All For Makye
My 4 1/2 year old son Makye is a fun loving, adventure seeking, high energy little guy... & I feel like I'm letting him down as a father today. He has ASD3 non-verbal, & is the happiest kid in the world when he's out in nature or just running around outside. Though he can get a bit rambunctious when couped up in the house all day. His mother isn't around to help, so I've worked long hours since He was born to foot the bills, relying heavily on family to watch him while I was away. I've alway been a hard worker, & so with God on our side we were able to make things work. The balance we'd found involved a lot of walking around, going to parks & photography of all things. Always having held a dormant passion for it myself, finding it reignited by Makye's utter infatuation with wildlife. When I get a really good picture of a bird or a bug, I laminate it on a small square. When he sees it, he jumps around flapping his arms; Pure joy. He carries the pictures around with him
