Arthur's Safe Bed Space
I am a full-time working mom who is also in college full time for pastry arts to support everything my son needs. My partner (Arthur's dad) is fully and permanently disabled and still works part time as well. Arthur is still in a crib at the moment because if he isn't then he wanders and doesn't have the concept of what is safe to touch and play with or put in his mouth. He has no danger filter basically. We have done all we can to make the room safe but unfortunately we can't cover everything for if he gets out of bed during the night and both his father and myself have lost sleep and peace of mind by staying up late at night or taking turns to keep eyes on him and make sure he stays in bed or if he wakes up we can sit with him until he falls asleep again. We have found out from his Dr and therapists he is autistic, adhd and has issues with his feet where he walks on the insides of his feet causing them to turn inwards and he has to wear braces that enclose his foot, ankle and up to
