  Full-Frame Imaging for the FC-76D and Classic FluoritesThe Multi Reducer 0.85×-L is the long-focus member of Takahashi’s new reducer lineup, purpose-built for the FC-76D series and legacy fluorite refractors. Using a 3-group, 4-element optical design, it reduces the FC-76D’s focal length from 570 mm to 486 mm (f/7.5 → f/6.4) while preserving exceptional flatness and minimizing chromatic and field aberrations. With its expanded φ44 mm image circle — significantly larger than previous 76 mm reducers — the 0.85×-L fully supports full-frame sensors and modern astrophotography workflows. Performance remains excellent even with older FC-60 / FC-65 / FC-76 optical tubes.
