Sea Urchin Catch-All

A sculptural ceramic catch-all by Catto Studio x Mariette Groen, inspired by the organic form of a sea urchin. The exterior is intentionally rough and tactile, while the interior is finished in a smooth, softly glazed light pink with subtle blue speckling. Generous in size, it works beautifully as a centerpiece catch-all, a vessel for everyday objects, or simply as a standalone sculptural piece. WHY IT’S SPECIAL The contrast is the quiet drama here: raw, ridged texture on the outside and a calm, glossy interior within. Each piece is shaped by hand, giving the form an irregular, almost tidal quality—as if it were lifted directly from the shoreline. No two pieces are ever the same, and the glaze variations make each catch-all entirely its own.
