Brewed in the traditional kimoto method with no additives and pure groundwater from the Kinu River, Retro highlights the expressive character of Omachi rice, Japan’s legendary heirloom variety. Its gentle aroma recalls ripe banana and melon, while the palate is layered with sweetness and refreshing acidity, balancing elegance with vibrancy. Retro is the only sake in the Edo-gaeri series crafted with Omachi, making it a rare and soulful expression of history, memory, and craft.
