Medical Records Coding [ICD-10] Assessment
The Medical Records Coding [ICD-10] assessment measures a medical record coder's ability to consistently and accurately apply the proper diagnosis codes (ICD-10) to a specific condition, disease, or injury. This test focuses on using the ICD-10 books, general ICD-10 knowledge, and applying diagnostics and procedure codes. This test is appropriate for test taker's preparing to use or who already has experience with ICD-10. In order to code to the highest level of specificity and accuracy, an ICD-10-CM book and an ICD-10-PCS book are recommended to complete this test.
